Accounting Assistant

The Golden Valley Agricultural Research Trust (GART) is a Public-Private Sector Partnership (PPP) Research Institution promoting sustainable agriculture through adaptive and applied research.

GART wishes to invite applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill up the following position, to be based at the GART Batoka Livestock Development Centre (LDC), Choma.

POSITION: ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Should have a ZICA Certificate, ACCA part 2 ,CA Zambia application level or Degree in Accounts
• Should be a member of ZICA
• Full grade twelve certificate with a credit or better in English and Mathematics.
• Should have Good computer skills and be familiar with computerized accounting packages, preferably Pastel and Dove systems.
• A relevant Information Technology qualification will be an added advantage.
• At least five (5) years relevant experience in a similar or higher position at a reputable organization.
