Field Coordinator – Veterinary Officer

The Field Coordinator will lead and facilitate the well-being of all animals through the adoption of improved animal management, production practices and standards in all project areas to ensure that animal health, animal husbandry and product quality assurance is achieved. The Coordinator will also ensure that all project participants have the knowledge and skills to humanely maximize their animals’ productivity and reduce the cost of production to the lowest level possible and will work in close collaboration and coordination with field staff to ensure the successful, innovative, efficient and effective functioning of all enterprise hubs in the project area. He/she shall also support and deputize the Project Manager on day-to-day activities and lead the technical team in diagnosing and treatment of diseases and dysfunctions of animals.
