GEMCATON INVESTMENTS HOLDINGS LIMITED
A well-established Mining Company called Gemcanton Investments Holdings Limited operates an Emerald Mine Situated in Pilala Area of Lufwanyama Emerald Restricted Area in Kitwe and seeks to engage a highly motivated HR Intern. He or She will fall under the Human Resources Department.

Essential Attributes (Knowledge/Skills/Experience Requirements)
Communication:
- A high level of oral and written communication skills.
- A high level of interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy in the suite of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to think strategically.
Self-Management:
- Ability to perform under pressure, respond quickly to requests and achieve effective results within given and at times tight time frames.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable in response to organisational and operational change and develop creative solutions to problems.
Knowledge/Requirements
- Significant knowledge of labour laws and HR documents, systems and procedures.
- Ensure that all personnel details and documents, as well as disciplinary and appeal hearing documentation are properly filed for future reference.
- Interpretation of the conditions of employment
- Interpretation of the Collective Agreement to the employees and ensure compliance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma in Human Resources Management
- Candidates must be willing to be based on site on a 12 days on: 4 days off schedule; subject to adjustment in line with operational demands.
Basis: Duration will be for a period of three (3) months, starting 5th July, 2017.
