The Social Media Specialist will administer the company’s social media marketing and advertising.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Managing and overseeing social media content.
Creating a regular publishing schedule and promote content through social advertising.
Staying up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies.
Using social media marketing tools such as Planoly.
Integrating all channels of marketing (social media, SEO, content marketing, email, print and digital marketing).
Write articles and content relating to sports and all types of related topics
Qualifications and Experience:
An experienced blogger or very proficient writer
Experience using WordPress to draft and publish blogs
Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in social media. (Give links to profiles as examples).
Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.
Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
Excellent multitasking skills.
Great time-management skills.
Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
Possesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing. Digital Marketing degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience.
