Impact Enterprises International, a technology company providing outsourced support services based in  Chipata, Zambia, is looking for an exceptional Learning and Development Lead to support the HR function.

Based in Chipata, we partner with international marketing, software, and consumer companies and universities to support their operations. All tasks are overseen by managers and company executives. Job Scope | Duties

The L&D Lead will support the HR function with a primary focus on developing and implementing L&D programs to improve the individual and organizational performance of all Impact current and new staff.

The L&D Lead will be responsible for such tasks as the below:

1. Planning – Identifying and assessing current training needs through a training needs analysis and consultation with all other relevant stakeholders.

2. Coordinating – The role will coordinate all training and development activities but more importantly, partner with all managers and internal and external stakeholders.

3. The role will support all needs Impacts training needs from onboarding through to specific project training.

4. Monitoring & Evaluating Training and Reporting – Monitor and evaluate training (Learning) and Development program’s effectiveness and success and report on the effectiveness.

5. Develop intuitive training styles and systems that are project-specific

The L&D  Lead must relocate to Chipata, Eastern Province. A moving stipend will be negotiated to help with moving fees.

General Competencies:

Qualifications

The candidate must meet all of the below qualifications:

  • Exceptional English communication skills.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Project Management, or Business  Administration.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in HR management or relevant experience
  • Must be a registered and active member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management or a similar body.
  • Advanced skills in Google Sheets and Excel (Practical test will be administered before an interview)
  • Average typing speed of at least 40 WPM (Practical test will be administered before the interview)
  • Ability to think critically and handle conflicts.
  • Superb attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Keen interest in the ICT sector and working with start-up businesses.
  • Good judgment, planning, and organizational skills.

Additional valuable qualifications include:

1. Entrepreneurship experience in business planning

2. IT network administration training

3. Experience working with foreign companies in the United States, Canada, Europe, or Australia.

4. Experience in youth IT, Project Education, coaching, and mentorship.
