Lumwana Mining Company is offering opportunities for internship development programme to highly committed persons to gain industrial experience under the Human Resource Department.

Reporting to the HR Coordinator, you will be involved in providing timely support in HRIS data capturing and audits.  Your duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

  • Provide support and assistance to HR Coordinator
  • providing support and assistance to supervisors with grievance handling, dispute resolution and performance management and disciplinary issues.
  • Updating and maintaining employee details in Element and Excel master data file
  • Conducting data audits in element and physical files
  • HRIS initiatives and project – involvement in the implementation
  • Assist in conducting employment interviews
  • Other tasks as and when assigned by the supervisor/ Manager

To be considered for Internship, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Must be a paid up member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Willingness to learn
  • Good planning and organization skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Microsoft Office skill, (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
