The Human Rights Commission is hereby inviting applications from suitably qualified and individuals to fill the following positions.
Investigations Officer x 1- Salary Grade : HRC F Location: Choma
QUALIFICATIONS
(a) Candidates must be Zambian with a minimum age of 23 years.
(b) BA degree in Social Sciences.
(c) At least 4 years experience in investigations.
MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB
The successful candidate will report to the Senior Investigations Officer and will be responsible for:
(a) Carrying out prompt, thorough and impartial investigations in order to ascertain the abuse of human rights.
(b) Preparing timely and accurate investigation reports in order to facilitate speedy submission.
(c) Ensuring and undertaking regular visits to prisons and other places of incarceration in order to ensure compliance with International minimum standards.
(d) Any other related duties as may be requested by the Supervisor.
