Workers' Compensation Fund Control Board



The Workers’ Compensation Fund Control Board (WCFCB) is a social security scheme responsible for compensating workers in respect of accidents suffered and diseases contracted during the course of employment in accordance with the provisions of the Workers’ Compensation Act No. 10 of 1999 of the Laws of Zambia.

The Workers’ Compensation Fund Control Board invites applications from suitably qualified Zambian citizens to be engaged in the following position.



To analyse markets and financial information in order to provide insight  trends and investment opportunities to the Investment Manager


  • Conducts due diligence on the Market and Investment opportunities by researching, analysing financial statements and market data and producing reports thereon;
  • Analyses financial information relating to specific companies, e.g. corporate governance  company results, profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements to determine how an organization is positioned to deliver for investors;
  • Analysis of Boards investments in accordance with investments objectives and target  returns and make recommendations.
  • Financial Modeling and projections.
  • Advises on the maturity profiles of the money market investments;
  • Monitors and reports on weekly, monthly and quarterly bases the positions of the Assets  under Management;
  • Updates the Accounting System on a daily basis with the investment transactions;
  • Ensures all documentation pertaining to investments is filed and is up to date;
  • Carries out any other duties incidental to the functional objectives as may be directed  by the Investment Manager from time to time.


Candidates must have the following:

  • Grade Twelve (12) Certificate
  • Degree in Economics and / or Finance, ACCA, CIMA
  • Three (3) years’ experience in either Fund or Asset Management and/or Investment  Banking
  • Excellent analytical skills numerical/computational skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good at problem solving
