ASA microfinance Zambia Limited is a non-deposit taking microfinance institution limited by shares incorporated on 22nd August 2014. The company aims at empowering the poor Zambians for the improvement of their socio-economic condition and reduced poverty by the sustainable microfinance program. The company is an affiliate of ASA international (ASAI), a private limited company incorporated in Mauritius on 6th April 2007 Holding a category -1 Global business license issued by the Financial Services Commission. With over 3000 branches in Asia and Africa combined, ASA International has taken keen interest in opening several more branches in Zambia hence the need for an IT Manager to oversee all IT related tasks of the company in Zambia
Job Description/ResponsibiIities
- To lead IT department as IT and Software Manager
- Provide user support and conduct technology training for new and existing users.
- Ensuring ICT infrastructure and stored data are safe and secure against any internal and external threats.
- Ensure that the Local Area Network is up and running.
- Participate in the network by liaising with vendors; developing, testing, evaluating and installing enhancements.
- Provide routine server monitoring and performance benchmarking.
- Preservation of assets, information security and control structures.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Bsc in Computer science, Information Technology or Software Engineering.
- A Masters Degree in Information Technology will be an added advantage.
Technical Ability
- Minimum Five 5 years working experience in IT Project Management.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in management
- Miximum 35 years old.
- Honest, responsible and trust worthy
- Able to work Independently
- Strong work ethics and high levels of Integrity.
