Job Overview 

Jhpiego under seeks a Data Analyst to support data collection, verification, management, and analysis for an innovative Unitaid project aimed at reducing PPH-related mortality and morbidity globally. The Accelerating Measurable Progress and Leveraging Investments for PPH Impact (AMPLI-PPHI) is a two-year project focused on catalyzing early adoption and scaling up new and recently recommended drugs for postpartum haemorrhage (PPH) in high-burden countries, including Nigeria, and Zambia. The project addresses key barriers to policy adoption, procurement, supply, and service delivery, with a focus on demand generation for policymakers, providers, and patients. It will demonstrate the operational feasibility, acceptability, and budget cost impact of new PPH drug introductions.

Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the development of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Research plans and project log frames.
2. Conduct data collection, cleaning, validation, analysis, and triangulation.
3. Develop and code tools using data collection applications.
4. Create dashboards for data visualization.
5. Ensure relevant data is entered into JADE, Jhpiego’s organization-wide performance management system.
6. Coordinate routine program and research data reviews.
7. Support key stakeholders in utilizing data for decision-making.
8. Assist the program team in documenting project learnings, including publications.
9. Contribute to results reporting to Unitaid by providing written documentation on M&E activities and indicator results for progress and annual reports.
10. Collaborate closely with Jhpiego staff to ensure effective, timely, and coordinated project implementation.
11. Conduct other assigned duties

Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in statistics, computer science, health informatics, information technology, or a related field.
2. 3+ years of work experience in data management, preferably in health sector development programs.
3. Extensive experience and familiarity with national health management information systems and/or DHIS2.
4. Strong ability to process and analyze data using statistical software packages (e.g., R, Stata, KOBO, SPSS), DHIS2, and/or Excel.
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
6. Ability and willingness to travel domestically periodically.
