We are seeking hard-working and reliable construction workers to join our team. You will participate in a variety of construction projects and follow construction plans and instructions from the site supervisor.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparing construction sites, materials, and tools.
- Loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Digging trenches and backfill holes to prepare for the construction site
- Operating equipment and heavy machinery used in construction sites.
- Following instructions from construction project managers and supervisors
- Loading and unloading building materials, cleaning the construction site by removing hazards materials and debris from the worksite
- Assisting craft workers such as carpenters or electricians with their duties, if needed
- Following all health and safety regulations.
- Digging holes, tunnels, and shafts.
- Mixing, pouring, and leveling concrete.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Full Grade 12 Certificate.
- Diploma in Construction / Building or related courses
- Minimum of two years’ relevant experience in construction, earth moving, civil and roads in an open pit mining environment.
- A team player and have the ability to work under intense pressure
