Job Description.

As an Automotive Technician at Keda Ceramic Zambia, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our vehicles. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and more. Your expertise will contribute to delivering high-quality service and exceeding company expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic tests to identify vehicle malfunctions and determine appropriate solutions.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Inspect vehicle systems, including brakes, steering, suspension, and exhaust, to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs.
  • Complete service orders accurately and efficiently, documenting all work performed and parts used.
    Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with your superiors to explain repairs and maintenance recommendations.
  • Stay updated on automotive technology advancements and participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an automotive technology program preferred.
  • Proven experience as an automotive technician, with a strong understanding of vehicle systems and components.
  • certification or equivalent credentials preferred.
  • Proficiency in diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
