Food Fayre Restaurants, a well-established chain of Indian  Restaurant, seeks to recruit two (2) talented individuals for the position of Kitchen Supervisor.

Specific Job Responsibility

The specific tasks to be performed by the position holder will include;

  • Scheduling restaurant staff and delegating tasks;
  • Supervising the preparation  and delivery of food and drinks;
  • Ensuring prompt and friendly customer service;
  • Maintaining quality and service standards;
  • Ensuring all staff are knowledgeable about menu offerings and individual ingredients;
  • Ensuring all staff follow strict personal safety, food safety and food storage guidelines
  • Supervising and maintaining restaurant cleanliness to meet regulatory sanitation and hygiene;
  • Managing inventory;
  • Interacting with restaurant guests to gauge satisfaction and improve customer service;
  • Responding to customer feedback and resolving conflicts effectively;
  • Arranging group events and ensuring the restaurant and staff meet service and food expectations;

Chairing weekly staff meetings to motivate staff and ensure they are all meeting restaurant
standards and expectations.

Qualifications & Experience required

  • Diploma in any food production or related field
  • Full Grade 12 school Certificate
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a busy establishment
  • Knowledge of different cuisines especially indian
