1.0 Background
1.1 KPTF was established in April 1980 as a defined benefit single-employer pension scheme to provide pension benefits to Bank of Zambia permanent and pensionable employees and their dependents on retirement or death. The scheme was registered under Trust in 1991.
1.2 Since then, there have been major changes in the pension industry landscape which also have implications on the KPTF organisational structure and processes. Consequently, the Board of Trustees realized the need to strengthen KPTF particularly on its functions, staffing structure and processes, respectively. Now with the Strategic Plan 2020-2022 in place, it is important to realign the existing Organisational Structure to the 2020-2022 Strategic Plan in order to achieve its strategic goals.
2.0 Purpose of the Assignment
2.1 The main purpose of the assignment is to review and determine the most effective and optimal organizational model to drive the strategy of the Fund.
3.0 Qualifications of Consultant(s)
3.1 The Consultant (s)/Firm is required to possess the following:
3.1.1 Postgraduate or relevant professional qualification in Organisational Management/Fund Management/Pensions Management;
3.1.2 Five (5) years demonstrated evidence of performing similar work with traceable references preferably of pension industry, fund management or financial services nature; and
3.1.3 Knowledge or understanding of the Fund Management and Pension Industry work environment and dynamics is desirable.
