We are looking for an experienced and qualified Head Chef to organize the kitchen’s activities.
Supervisor all kitchen staff.
Proven ability to control and direct food preparation.
Ensure strict stock and cost controls.
Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring variety, quality and outstanding presentation.Approve and “polish” dishes before they reach the customer.
Good communication and leadership skills.
Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress.
Comply with nutrition, sanitation, hygiene and safety standards.Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers.
Minimum of 5 years experience as head chef of a recognized or established at a Hotel or Lodge.
