An opportunity exists for a talented individual who wishes to develop a career in this exciting industry as Processing and Fresh Foreman reporting to the Technical Manager.


  • Managing maintenance purchases and validating stock levels for spare parts and developing standardisation of equipment
  • Negotiating the budget for internal labour, spare parts and external services
  • Participating in projects for new installations, from the design stage to approval
  • Ensuring that internal rules are respected and supply the necessary means (IPE, hot work permit, health and safety prevention plans, etc.)
  • Maintaining installations to comply with regulations and propose improvements
  • Defining and leading processes related to integrated management systems (ISO 9001, 22000, 14000, International Food Standards, etc.)
  • Participating in recruiting, integrating and training of the staff
  • Explaining and applying the internal departmental operating rules
  • Defining and discussing with the team the department’s objectives, indicators and lead their implementation
  • Initiating, leading and participating in continued improvement projects or capital expenditure projects
  • Conducting career or appraisal meetings with the team
  • Defining the training needs for the maintenance team
  • Analyse failures, results and indicators in order to propose, prioritise and carry out action plans


  • Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years in industrial maintenance
  • Knowledge of Dairy will be an added advantage
