We are looking for a Sales Team Leader
In this position, you will be reporting to the Commercial Manager. You will be responsible for delivering volume and revenue growth in all channels through increased and well managed customer base.
Among other responsibilities, you are expected to:
- Manages and measures sales targets daily and takes corrective action with team
- Partner with Sales Representatives and customers to develop and execute customer specific business plans
- Ensure compliance to quality standards and manage trade replacements
- Negotiates permanent, promotional and ad hoc space with customers
- Executes quarterly (or as per agreement) business reviews by customer
- Understand pack margin and pack role per customer in order to optimize revenue growth
- Develop, implement and/or manage account specific programmes, promotions and packs as required and evaluation.
- Build strong personal relationships with customers
- Allocate execution resources (e.g. POS/ promotional material etc) for maximum return
- Identify competitor activities and develop and implement response tactics
- Ensures local and national promotions are implemented effectively
If you have the following:
- Full Grade twelve certificate
- Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or other related field
- Minimum of five (5) years’ work experience in the FMCG industry
- Commercial/ Industry awareness
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good negotiation skills when dealing with customers
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good presentations skills
- Strong administration capabilities
- Intermediate Computer Skills
