Our client – a Micro Finance Lending Institution seeks the services of a self-driven Loan Officer (Junior Officer). The Loan Officer will be required to carry out the following but not limited to:
Duties:
- Solicit clients from anywhere in Zambia.
- Maintain and monitor performance of each loan under their custodianship.
- Monitor accounts for missed payments and initiate follow-ups.
- Ensure accurate records of communication and payment activity.
- Present clients’ applications with correct information.
- Guide and prepare clients when making an application.
Requirements:
- Diploma and at least a college certificate in business or a related field preferred.
- Experience in debt collection or customer service.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentially.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and debt collection software
