Latitude 15 Degrees Hotel based in Lusaka; Zambia a member of the Latitude Hotels Brand that offer a unique blend of modern Africa with a cosmopolitan twist.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the following positions in the Accounts Department, based in Lusaka:
1. Unit Accountant
This position reports to the General Manager, Directors and Shareholders. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the efficient use of the Hotels Financial resources, implementing financial controls and preparing periodic financial records.
Main Responsibilities
- The incumbent will be responsible managing the day operations of the Accounts department
- Financial management.
- Financial reporting & analysis.
- Budgeting & forecasting.
- Compliance & risk management.
- Manage and lead the finance & Procurement team
About you
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent skills in financial management and budget analysis.
- High skill level in using Excel.
- Ability to priorities work schedules and meet deadlines

Qualifications
- University degree within accounting.
- At least 4 years’ experience in financial management in the Hospitality Industry;
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience;
- Good knowledge of Sage Accounting and Opera system;
- ZICA compliant.
