Legacy Manufacturers Limited, a leading manufacturing firm located at Plot No. 10993 Mungwi Road, Chinika Industrial Area, Lusaka, is urgently seeking a highly qualified applicant to fill the job of SHIFT SUPERVISOR. The ideal applicant will have a strong production management background, food sector expertise, and understanding of extrusion processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily manufacturing activities and maintain smooth operations during assigned shift.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of products and efficiency of production lines.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company standards.
- Train and mentor team members to enhance productivity and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues that arise during the shift.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operation across shifts.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Education qualifications and work experience:
- Diploma in Production Management, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of work experience in the food industry.
- Proficient in the use of computers and relevant software.
- Solid knowledge of extrusion processes.
