1. Introduction

Life Initiative for Change (LIC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting sustainable development, climate action, and improved health outcomes in communities across Zambia. As part of its operations for the year 2025, LIC is inviting vendors to register for the supply of goods and services to support its programs and activities.

2. Purpose
The purpose of this call is to establish a pre-qualified list of reliable vendors who can provide high-quality products and services in a timely and cost-effective manner. Vendors will be engaged on a need basis throughout 2025, and successful applicants will be eligible to participate in LIC’s procurement processes.

3. Scope of Work
LIC seeks vendors to supply various goods and services, including but not limited to:

  • Office supplies and stationery
  • IT equipment and accessories
  • Catering services
  • Printing and branding materials
  • Transportation and logistics
  • Medical Supplies
  • Medical Equipment
  • Cleaning and hygiene services
  • Construction and maintenance services
  • Event management services
  • Consultancy services in project management, climate action, and health programs

4. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for vendor registration, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a legally registered business or entity in Zambia
  • Have a valid Taxpayer Identification Number (TPIN) and VAT registration (where applicable)
  • Demonstrate a track record of supplying goods/services in the relevant category
  • Provide at least two references from past clients
  • Submit a company profile, including ownership details, key personnel, and operational capacity
  • Have the ability to provide competitive pricing and flexible payment terms

5. Submission Requirements
Interested vendors should submit the following documents:

1. Company Profile – including company registration details, key personnel, and past experience
2. Tax Clearance Certificate
3. List of Goods/Services Provided
4. References from Two Previous Clients
5. Price List or Rate Card (if applicable)
6. Business Contact Details (address, phone, and email)

6. Selection Process
LIC will conduct a review of all submissions based on the eligibility criteria and the organization’s procurement needs. Shortlisted vendors may be contacted for further verification or interviews.
