The Import/Export Administrator will oversee and direct import and export operations in compliance with tariffs and customs regulations applicable to the respective countries.
Main Countries involved in Cross border operations will be South Africa, Zambia and DRC.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee the flow of goods for international and domestic traffic.
- Calculate duties, tariffs, price conversions, weight, and volume of merchandise exported and imported.
- Negotiate and Communicate with Transporters from Quote submissions to actual freight delivery completion.
- Oversees preparation of documents such as Regional Border certificates, filing tariffs, bills of lading, license agreements, and other correspondences; coordinate other paperwork and documentation necessary to comply with tariffs and customs regulations.
- Serve as a liaison between agents, brokers, transporters, and warehouse facilities.
- Expedite shipping of goods into and out of the country.
- Resolves customs delays.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:

- Thorough knowledge of shipping regulations and policies.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- A proven track record with references of Logistics Operations Management, International Trade, or related field preferred.
- A minimum of at least THREE YEARS of experience in import/export operations required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 10kgs at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate shipping and warehouse facilities
