Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial reports and statements for internal and external use.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, invoices, and receipts.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed.
- Assist during audits by organising documentation and responding to inquiries.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should:
- Have recently completed a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Be familiar with basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Be familiar with QuickBooks accounting software.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
- Possess excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Showcase strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.
- Thrive in both independent and team-oriented settings.
