Madison Finance Company Limited, one of the leading Financial Services accredited by Bank of Zambia (BOZ) seeks to recruit suitably qualified and professionally experienced candidates for the following position:

Customer Relationship Officers

The ideal candidates must have strong commercial and business acumen from the Banking and MFI environment.

Key Responsibilities

The job entails building and maintaining a formidable company – client relationships that increase customer loyalty and patronage through ensuring that every client’s needs, requirements and expectations are met. Specifically, the role is responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Develop and set up effective marketing initiatives for deposit mobilisation
  • Understanding the needs of customers and be able to respond effectively
  • Research on organisations and individuals to find new opportunities
  • Increase the value of existing customers while attracting new ones
  • Address client concerns promptly and professionally and ensuring that requests are handled timely and accurately
  • Develop quotes and proposals efficiently for both new and existing clients
  • Identify and maintain new contacts and networks relevant for business development
  • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales
  • Provide timely weekly/monthly reports
  • Drive deposit portfolio growth and management
  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies

  • Full grade twelve certificate with at least merit in Mathematics & English.
  • Degree in Banking and Finance or any relevant business related field
  • At least two (2) years of experience in Financial Services or Banking environment
  • Good communication and relationship management skills
  • Self-driven – ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Good analytical skills and Team player
  • Should be able to meet deadlines, be flexible and use own initiative.
  • Should have good report writing skills
