Makeni Institute Trust, a reputable charitable organisation, seeks the services of a solar engineer.
MAIN DUTIES /RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design PV systems using licensed software or MS Excel spreadsheet , such as PVsyst, HelioScope, Homer Pro
Configure PV systems based on site conditions, needs and expectations;
Conduct load analysis
Develop standard procedures and quality or safety standards for installation and repairs
Provide technical direction or support to installation and repair teams during installation, testing, system commissioning, repairs or performance monitoring
Develop and implement a train-the-trainer program for technical installations and repairs
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Solar Engineering or a related degree.
Experience:
5 years+ experience in solar industry
Capacity to train others
Think Creatively and be Proactive
