Kafubu Water and Sewerage Company is a water utility on the Copperbelt providing water and sanitation services to its customers in Ndola, Luanshya and Masaiti. In its continued strides to sustain and improve service delivery to its esteemed customers, the Company seeks to employ a highly motivated and goal oriented professional in the following position:-

MANAGER-PUBLIC RELATIONS AND MARKETING

Reporting to: Director — Commercial Services

Manages and coordinates the company’s public relations and marketing function and develops related strategies that meet the company’s overall objectives.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Develops and implements strategies to meet the Company*s public relations and marketing objectives.
  • Monitors the customer service operations ofthe Company to ensure that they are operating within established company policies, procedures and standards.
  • Provides support to Director Commercial Services in investigating, handling and solving customer complaints or any major incidents.
  • Manages and coordinates the dissemination of information to stakeholders about company operations and services through various communication channels to gain public understanding and acceptance.
  • Responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans,
  • Responsible for branding ofcustomer service centres, vehicles and other visibility
    materials.
  • Develops and maintains good relations with the media so as to create public awareness on issues of interest through sustained positive coverage.
  • Identifies and coordinates Corporate Social Responsibilitv (CRS) activities that positively market the Company to its external stakeholders as a good corporate citizen
  • Develops monitors and controls the department’s annual budget to support planned activities that contribute to the company’s business objectives.
  • Plans and coordinates training of Customer Service staffto ensure delivery of high standard customer service.
  • Monitor Company performance; analyzestatisticsandotherdatatocompilemonthly reports to show the level ofeustomer service being provided by the Company.

Minimum qualifications and experience

  • Grade 12 Certificate — Credit of better in English
  • Bachelors Degree in public Relation, Journalism, Marketing, Mass Communication or its equivalent.
  • Graphic Designing skills (added advantage)
  • Experience in a corporate environment.
  • In possession of a clean and valid Driving license
