Experienced Farm Manager

We are looking for an experienced Farm Manager to join our team at Marche Zambia Limited. The ideal candidate must have extensive knowledge in fish farming and vegetable farming, as well as the necessary qualifications and strong skills in reporting. Candidates should either reside in or be able to commute daily to the Silverest/Chongwe area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the farm, with a focus on both fish and vegetable production.
• Lead and manage farm staff to ensure efficient and productive farming activities.
• Monitor the health and growth of fish and crops, implementing optimal farming practices.
• Ensure high standards of hygiene, safety, and productivity across the farm.
  Coordinate with suppliers and other stakeholders for timely procurement of farm inputs.
• Record and analyze farm data, including crop yields, pest control measures, and water quality for fish.
• Generate detailed reports on farm operations and performance, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
  Ensure compliance with farming regulations and sustainability best practices

Requirements:

• Proven experience in fish farming and vegetable farming.
  Suitable qualifications in agriculture, aquaculture, or a related field.
• Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other reporting tools.
• Strong skills in data management and reporting.
• Ability to manage teams and coordinate multiple farm activities.
• Ability to live in or commute to the Silverest area daily.
• Strong communication skills and a dedicated work ethic
