Position Overview:
We are looking for a Lecturer in Livestock Farming and Animal Health Management to deliver high-quality education and foster student engagement in areas such as animal welfare, herd management, and disease prevention. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the academic and practical understanding of livestock health and production.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in livestock farming and animal health management.
Mentor and advise students on academic and career development.
Conduct research focused on animal health, welfare, and management practices.
Collaborate with industry stakeholders to enhance curriculum relevance and practical applications.
Participate in departmental committees, outreach programs, and community engagement.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Science, or a related field (PhD preferred).
Strong background in livestock farming and animal health management, including knowledge of veterinary practices, nutrition, and welfare.
Previous teaching experience at the university level is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
