Media 365 is seeking a SKY Hub Supervisor who is hard-working, creative, collaborative, results-driven, fun and passionate about customer experience to join our team! The SKY Hub Supervisor will supervise the look and experience at the SKY Hub, which is a physical concept store that embodies the SKY Girls Zed Brand. Key Roles & Responsibilities 

  • Maintain the day-to-day operations of the SKY Hub Store, including cleanliness, security, and audience experience, in line with SKY Girls Zed Brand.
  • Create awareness of the SKY Girls Zed Brand including brand promotion on social media
  • Perform community engagement functions on SKY Girls Zed socials (e.g. responding to comments, enquiries etc)
  • Develop innovative strategies to raise audience engagement with SKY Girls Zed at the SKY Hub, to expand audience visits and raise brand awareness
  • Meet audience engagement goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to SKY Hub Assistants
  • Ensure high levels of audience engagement and satisfaction through interactive activities, and compliance with policies and procedures
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and helpful way, and discover their wants and needs
  • Maintain outstanding SKY Hub physical condition and atmosphere, including but not limited to cleanliness, smell and music
  • Maintain outstanding visual merchandising standards, stock and merchandise SKY Hub, arrange merchandise to look tidy and attractive to customers
  • Process and receive store merchandise
  • Report on audience visits, audience profile, audience needs etc, analyze daily record report (Record concerns and feedback from end-users)
  • Deal with all issues that arise from feedback from the audience (teenage girls, and their parents)
  • Operate as the SKY Girls Zed “customer service centre” including maintenance of the SKY Girls Zed pledge database, distribution of SKY Girls Zed wristbands, collection point for SKY Girls Zed prices
  • Leading flagship in-store events and activation.
  • Support the management of events, including  event production, logistics, branding and product display
  • Supervise booths set up, promotional stands and stock products
  • Setting up and striking down events
  • Responsible for analyzing the results of activities, and input into activation/ brand presentations
  • Manage SKY Hub assistants and interns
  • Ensure all child protection policies are followed
  • Ensuring that all in-store security, health and COVID-19 protocols are followed at the SKY Hub
  • Participates at SKY Girls Zed team meetings
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications 

  • Diploma in Business Administration, marketing  or similar qualification OR at least two years experience in a similar position
  • Grade 12 Certificate with five G.C.E “O” including English Language and Mathematics
  • Previous experience in retail or brand activation, particularly at the supervisory or management level with great customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Passionate about projects targeting girls and young women
  • Fluent in English and Nyanja/Bemba
  • High energy and ability to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
  • Willingness to work beyond normal business hours and travel as required.

Work-Life Balance 

Work-life balance at Media 365 is in line with consulting norms, meaning your work hours will be dictated by the phase and requirements of the project assigned to you.

In weeks with close deadlines, we work longer hours (reasonably to expect a 60-hour work week). In weeks with no immediate major deadlines, 40-hour work weeks are the norm.
