Job Title: Merchandiser (Motor Bike Rider)

Your objective is to ensure that the company products get the best possible placement in the shop and that you assist the shopper with any relevant information to enable them to purchase the product.

• You must adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics.
• You must keep abreast of what competitors are doing and report to management.
• Attend to customer complaints regarding sales and service and communicate these to management.
• Maintain company standards, this includes attendance, professional appearance and behavior.
• You are responsible for the image of the company ensure presentation is at its highest standard.
• As one of our merchandisers you are responsible for ensuring that our products appear in the designated store at the appropriate time and in the correct quantities. This involves working closely with the store buying teams to accurately forecast trends, plan stock levels and monitor performance. While the buyer selects the lines, as the merchandiser you decide how much stock should be bought.
• You need to place and position stock so as to target the right market and maximize sales, you will assist in implementing promotions and markdowns as necessary.
• You are also responsible for the ordering of stock from HQ to ensure that product is available.
• You must work with buyers, analysts, stores, the marketing and sales manager and delivery teams;
• You must ensure that your bestsellers reach their full potential;
• Monitor slow sellers and take action to ensure that your slow sellers reach their full potential;
• You are tasked with gathering information on customers’ reactions to products.
• You must interact with customers regularly to get this feedback and report to management
• You can arrange visits for the buyers through the manager.
• Keep updated of any supply difficulties and deal with any problems or delays as they arise;
• Ensure that your displays are regularly updated.
• You must maximize the space allocated to you and the layout of your product in the store taking into account the flow of customers walking throughput and habits.
• You must install and dismantle displays, using available space to the best advantage;
• Visit other stores in your area, work with in-store sales staff and help to improve their presentation;

Requirements

• Should be able to speak English.
• Should be able to read and write in English.
• Should have a motor bike license (class A)
• Should have experience is sales and merchandizing.
• Should have a high school certificate.
• Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service
• Should have good communication and interpersonal skills.
