REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FOR CONSULTING SERVICES TO UNDERTAKE INDUSTRY CAPACITY BUILDING SESSIONS ON MICROINSURANCE

1.0 BACKGROUND
The Microinsurance Technical Advisory Group (TAG Association) of Zambia is a multi-stakeholder membership-based association that plays sector coordination and advocacy role for inclusive insurance development in Zambia. The TAG Association supports knowledge sharing of emerging insights and models that increase private sector players engagement in the design and delivery of appropriate microinsurance products in Zambia.

As part of its mandate to strengthen suppliers of microinsurance products on the Zambian market, the TAG is hereby calling for expression of interest for provision of various training sessions as detailed below.

2.0 OBJECTIVE OF THE ASSIGNMENT
The objective of the various types of trainings is to enhance understanding of the subject matter of microinsurance and encourage organisations and individuals in the insurance industry to expand their professional capabilities. This should in turn improve the microinsurance landscape in Zambia especially after the training yields results.

3.0 DELIVERABLES FOR THE ASSIGNMENT
The overall purpose of the assignment is to train and build the capacity of TAG’s members, partners and stakeholders in selected topics indicated. The Consultant (s) are expected to provide 2 to 3 days online or in person training on each of the listed topics below;

1.Inclusive Insurance Product Design and Pricing: Human Centered Design (HCD) Applied
2.Measuring Client Value and enhancing business viability
3.Distributing and Selling Inclusive Insurance Products

The Consultant will be expected to submit a report for each training session which will include recommendations for future training areas.

4.0 REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
The Association invites qualified and interested applicants who should submit a single document consisting of:

  • Company profile and/or CVs detailing past relevant assignments undertaken including daily/hourly rate
  • Demonstration of wide knowledge and skill in areas that the topic (s) covers
  • Proven experience in conducting both online and in-person training

  • Good spoken and written communication skills in English
  • Registration with relevant institutions
  • Certificate of Registration
  • Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
  • Any other information that you believe should be taken into account
