Job Title: Manager Merchant Acquisition
The key responsibilities for this role include but not limited to the following:
- Managing the MoMo payments roadmap for the informal segment (Group and Local FINCO).
- Overseeing relationships with internal partners and third parties to scale the Informal Merchants growth opportunity.
- Designing end-to-end informal Merchant value propositions to meet target customer expectations.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver campaigns and promotions for business growth.
- Delivering key processes (e.g., onboarding, liquidation) to scale the informal merchant base as per targets and SLAs.
- Resolving Informal Merchant complaints by liaising with customer-facing teams and establishing continuous improvement frameworks.
- Monitoring the performance of existing products with internal stakeholders to ensure cost-effectiveness, healthy margins, and profitability.
- Design of effective key process Informal Merchant ecosystem to deliver quality, efficiency within set standards and SLAs
- Monitor performance of Informal Merchants; Value, Volume, Revenues
- Utilizing data-driven insights to develop product, sector, and short-to-medium-term plans.
- Driving the alignment of product offerings to market demands to maximize uptake and profitability.
- Ensuring that all processes and initiatives align with business objectives and support sustainable growth.
Candidate Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate with 5 credit or better of which English and Mathematics are a must.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
- At least 3 years’ experience in Sales, Marketing, Customer experience or related business function
- Proficient with MS Office application especially Excel and Power Point
- Prior experience in the Payment system organization will be an added advantage
