Our Client, Mulungushi International Conference Center Limited (MICCL) is seeking to recruit a highly skilled, strategic and dynamic Finance Manager to lead its financial operations. The Finance Manager will be responsible for budgeting, compliance, and strategic financial decision-making, ensuring MICCL’s profitability and long-term financial stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes financial strategies aligned with MICCL business objectives.
  • Leads the budgeting, financial forecasts, and business planning initiatives to optimize financial performance.
  • Ensures financial risks are proactively managed and that all financial practices comply with regulatory standards and international accounting principles.
  • Provides financial insights and analysis to support key business decisions, including market expansion, investments, and cost optimization.
  • Oversee cash flow management, capital expenditures, and financial investments for optimal financial positioning.
  • Proactively mitigate financial risks and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Supervises creditor reconciliations, supplier payments, and foreign payment approvals.
  • Reviews SLA agreements with MICCL clients and recommends changes of financial input and legislation.
  • Maintains strong relationships with external auditors and tax authorities to ensure compliance with tax laws, reporting requirements, and financial regulations.
  • Builds, mentors, and leads a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation.
  • Ensures accurate financial reporting in compliance with International Accounting Standards.

Qualifications and Skills.

  • Grade 12 Certificate with 5 ‘O’ Levels (Credit or Better).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification: ACCA, CIMA, or ZICA required.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar finance leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, risk management, and taxation.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies that enhance business growth.
  • Experience in managing financial teams and improving operational efficiency.
