We are looking to recruit a graphic designer intern for a period of 6 months with possibility of confirmation in the role. The intern is expected to carry out the following duties and responsibilities which include but are not limited to :
- Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
- Create and design different types of materials for printing and digital use
- Ensure assigned projects are of high quality and on schedule
- Develop creative content on behalf of the company
- Manage and prioritize projects within budget and design specifications
- Retouch and manipulate images as requested
Qualifications
- Full grade 12 certificate
- Diploma in graphic arts & design or any related course.
- Knowledge of Adobe photo shop, illustrator, Sketch, InDesign and other graphic software
- Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, prints and the web
- Excellent eye for detail
