We are therefore inviting applications to fill the following vacant positions:
DRIVER/ SALESMAN – LUSAKA
Contract: Permanent
Reporting to the Sales & Distribution Manager, the successful candidates will be accountable for the following:
- Providing information on sales forecast for the designated route
- Ensuring that loads and quantities will meet the demand of the route
- Providing information that can lead to exploration of new markets
- Ensuring that cash is kept safely at all times
- Ensuring that cash sales balance with stock sold
- Ensuring that he practices good communication with customers
- Ensuring that he drives the company truck according to traffic rules and vehicle defects should be reported in time
- Ensuring all safety regulations are followed
The job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements and possess the following attributes.
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Class C Driver’s License with two years driving experience
- Ability to communicate well
- Team player
- Ability to adhere to instructions, work in shifts with minimum supervision and hard worker
- Sober mind, self-starter physically fit and honest
- Effective communicator
