Overview : National Consultant to develop consultancy is to develop comprehensive socio-environmental assessment guidelines for the Artisanal and Small Scale mining and a country specific environmental toolkit to be used by Artisanal and Small Scale miners, community and regulators The regulations should take the need of ASM involved in the extraction of Development Minerals in Zambia. The guidelines will be anchored on National environmental laws and reference best practices resources such as those prescribed by UN Environment Programme, UNDP Strategy for equitable and sustainable management of the extractives sector and others.
