1. Maintaining positive business relationship with customers to maximize sales

2. Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers

3. Supply supervisors with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services

4. Ensuring that customer’s satisfaction is upheld on a daily basis

5. Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends

6. Continuously improve through feedback by performing cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs

7. Expedite the resolutions of customer’s problems and complaints to maximize customer’s satisfactions

8. Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule

9. Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments


1. Must have a grade 12 School certificate or equivalent

2. Must have a tertiary qualification in any field.

3. Have good problem solving and decision-making skills.

4. Be computer literate.

5. Previous work experience in sales.

6. Familiarity with point-of-sale machines as an added advantage.

7. Having taken book keeping in secondary will be an added advantage.
