Although we do many different types of research, we have a strong bias towards policy/program/project impact and process evaluations, targeting verification, capacity building, and field quality assurance. Over the years, Palm Associates has developed a formidable capacity to design and implement different kinds and sizes of impact evaluation studies.

Duties of the Enumerator

Enumerator’s main duty will be to collect data using Android tablets. This will be done in each Community that has been assigned to him/her by his/her supervisor. The supervisor will show his/her team the Community boundaries before commencing work in the area. The following summarizes the enumerator’s duties:

i) By using the pre-entered list of households with the supervisor locate the households within the Community.

ii) Interview the selected households using the main questionnaire on the allocated tablet. The back-up questionnaires and other relevant field materials will be provided by the supervisor. The supervisor will also help the enumerator to organize day-to-day activities.

iii) During fieldwork maintains regular contact with the team supervisor to enable him/her to make work program adjustments as he/she sees fit.

iv) Make sure that the information collected is recorded as correctly and as neatly as possible, reflecting as accurately as possible the respondent’s positions.

v) Perform, as the situation may demand, any such duties that will facilitate as far as possible the smooth execution of the survey activities, and as may be assigned by the Supervisor
