The Zambia-Emory HIV Research Project seeks the following:
Part-time Physician-Ndola
Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Screen and enroll participants for eligibility for research studies
- Assess eligibility criteria for various studies
- Provide HIV Pre/Post Test Counseling and risk reduction counseling
- Provide family planning counseling
- Perform clinical and safety evaluations of participants in observational and clinical research
- Collect samples per study protocol
- Prescribe and administer treatment/study product to study participants
- Record study specific data on data collection tools as per protocol
- Address clinical queries
- Perform quality control of clinical data
- Compliance with study procedures and GCP/ICH guidelines
Qualifications required for the position:
- Registered with Health Professions Council of Zambia
- Ability to communicate fluently in English and Bemba
- Previous research experience preferred
