We are an upcoming FMCG industry located in Luapula Province. We have the following vacancy:
Pivot Irrigation Maintenance Manager
Role
Responsible to provide pivot irrigation maintenance & support programme for irrigation equipnent at cost to ensure that the irrigation is done in accordance with the agriculture plan and to minimize down time of equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
Specific duties:
- Manager and Supervise the pivot Irrigation
- Maintenance system rmeking sure that all breakdowns and necessary repairs are attended to in good tine and rectified, both electriical and Mechanical
- To plan and schedule Irrigation Preventive Maintenance
- To plan and procure spares for Irrigation system
- To sure that all the Irrigators and operators are well trained to under stand their job demands.
- Responsible for safety of the staff and ensuring they have the right equipnent, PPE and facilities.
- Responsible in the planning, scheduling and managing departmental overtime, attendance & discipline in liaison with responsible departments.
- Budget for spares require liasion
REQUIREMENTS
Irrigation Maintenance Manager
- Must have a relevant Bachelor’s Degree in any field related to Agriculture, Water Wngineering Electrical, or Mechanical
- Must also have certifications in irrigation management system customer service orientation.
- Endowed with abilities in terms of costing and problem solving skills.
- Registered & have renewed membership in a professional body.
- Over 7 years relevant experience in pivot irrigation maintenance.
