We are looking for an experienced plumber who is also skilled in tiling to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining plumbing systems, as well as laying and installing tiles in various locations. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, good communication skills, and be willing to work in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Install, repair and maintain plumbing systems (e.g. pipes, drains, fixtures)
2. Interpret blueprints and building specifications to map out the layout for plumbing systems
3. Lay and install tiles in various locations, such as bathrooms, kitchens, and floors
4. Measure and cut tiles to size using specialized tools
5. Collaborate with other team members to complete projects in a timely and efficient manner
6. Other duties could include working in other areas of the maintenance department to provide support during absences or shortage of workers in other trades or to perform duties associated with light construction projects.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a plumber/tiler, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
2. Ability to interpret blueprints and building specifications
3. Knowledge of local plumbing regulations
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Excellent communication and customer service skills
