Qualifications and Experience
- Full grade 12 certificate with credit or better.
- Minimum of a Diploma in Purchasing & Supply.
- Member of the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supplies with a valid Practicing license.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in procurement management in a similar role.
Summary Job Description
- Organizing and maintaining of procurement records.
- Preparation of procurement plans to ensure timely delivery of goods and Services critical for the successful implementation of organizational goals and objectives.
- Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationship with suppliers, to ensure quality and cost effective supplies are procured.
- Evaluating proposals and quotations received and making suitable recommendations to management.
- Preparation of procurement reports to Management with recommendations on gaps identified in order to improve service delivery.
- Monitoring compliance with the relevant procurement laws and regulations in order to reduce exposure to risks associated with noncompliance.
- Monitoring the movement of orders from approval to delivery of goods or services to Stores or end-users.
- Inventory management & Checks.
- Providing support to the Finance and Admin team in preparation of budgets, contacting suppliers, and making necessary adjustments.
