Job Title: Production Scheduler

Main responsibilities:

  • Responsible for converting the Production Plan from Regional Supply team to a short terms
  • Production Schedule in an optimum manner in terms of Capacity and Resources;
  • Effectively Manage Local Production Scheduling, and timeous communication of deviations to the
  • Regional Planning Team. Enhance cross functional involvement to better problem solving while leveraging of team dynamics;
  • Work closely with the factory Production team to ensure all planned maintenance and other events are taken into account proactively to ensure a stable Production Plan and Schedule;
  • To establish Wrapping Materials Requirements for the Zambia Operations, maintenance of MRP data integrity and inventory control parameters and review action messages to ensure stability of the Production schedule ensuring that it optimizes Capacity and Resources as well as inputs (WMs and CRT).

Essential requirements

  • A relevant University degree (Business or Engineering)
  • Knowledge in Supply Chain activities and systems ( SAP)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to deal with suppliers, and work under minimum supervision
  • Self-starter and Proactive
  • Team working skill and ability to escalate as required
  • At least 1 years’ experience in a Supply Chain role, (Manufacturing Industry prefably)
