PEAS Zambia, with support from the Hempel Foundation, is seeking an independent evaluator to assess the impact of its system-strengthening approach in primary schools. This evaluation will generate evidence to guide future scaling and inform the Ministry of Education on embedding these improvements at the district level.
Scope of Work
The evaluator will conduct a baseline and endline study of the TIEEZ Primary Programme in Eastern Province, assessing:
- Student Learning (exam results)
- Safeguarding (school climate & safety perceptions)
- School Leadership & Management (leader engagement & governance)
- Teaching Quality (classroom observations & teacher attendance)
Who Should Apply?
We invite proposals from research teams with:
- Experience in education research in Zambia
- Strong quantitative & qualitative research skills
- Experience managing large-scale research projects
- Expertise in gender-sensitive data collection & safeguarding
