Peace Corps Zambia wishes to invite applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the under listed positions, these are fixed short term contracts over a two year period (Base + 1 option). The projected dates for the short-term contracts are detailed below. In order to be selected for these positions, the applicant must be a Zambian Citizen, must not have been employed in intelligence-related activities, and must submit an application that clearly documents how they meet each of the following mandatory requirements. 1. PST TECHNICAL TRAINER – Rural Aquaculture Promotion (RAP)

Location : Chongwe
Daily Rate : On/around ZMW 745/Day
Estimated Days : 100 days per contract period with a maximum of two periods
Contract Periods : March – May 2019 and March – May 2020
Work Week : Full-Time; 6 days/week

BASIC FUNCTION

The PST RAP Technical Trainer is responsible for facilitating sessions and assisting with the overall imple-mentation and evaluation of the RAP technical component (rural small-scale aquaculture) of PST. The Trainer will be expected to provide the Zambian context in any and all preparation, sessions and field prac-ticals with the Trainees. S/he will assist with the design of an overall technical training using participatory and experiential approaches to address the competencies developed with emphasis placed throughout the PST on the integration of technical activities with language and cross-cultural training.
