Puku Solutions is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resource Clerk to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Human Resource Clerk is to provide administrative support to the Human Resource department. This role involves rotating between night and day shifts to effectively track employee attendance, verify overtime claims, employee leave administration, and perform other related duties. The ideal candidate must possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

  • Track and record employee attendance, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records are maintained.
  • Verify and process employee overtime claims, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Administer and maintain employee leave records, including vacation, sick leave, and other types of absences.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of HR-related documents, such as employment contracts, offer letters, and disciplinary notices.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including managing employee files and records.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to update and maintain the HR database and other HR systems.
  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process, including scheduling interviews, conducting background checks, and preparing orientation materials.
  • Coordinate employee training sessions and maintain training records.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

  • A Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be willing to work night shifts as required
