JOB OPPORTUNITY – PURCHASING AND SUPPLIES MANAGER (RE-ADVERTISED)
The Council of Mulungushi University, as an equal opportunity employer is inviting qualified and sufficiently motivated individuals to apply for the position of Purchasing and Supplies Manager:
Job Purpose: To manage all the procurements of the University, including maintenance and monitoring of procurement systems and procurement contracts to ensure compliance with the procurement rules and regulations as provided in the Zambia Public ProcurementAuthority (ZPPA) Act No. 12 of 2008.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 School Certificate with at least 05 Credits that must include English Language
- Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (Level 6). A Degree in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management and/or related field will be an added advantage
- At least 05 years practical experience in the same capacity in a reputable organization in Supply Chain Management
- Possess effective oral and written communication skills
- Fully paid up member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) or the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply (ZIPS) with a valid Practicing License
- Must be Computer literate,
