PURPOSE OF JOB

Monitor and service systems, diagnose problems, and troubleshoot cold/freezer room refrigeration and catering/kitchen equipment, run tests, and complete reports, update and improve existing systems, and repair or replace faulty equipment.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Install, repair, and troubleshoot cold/freezer room refrigeration systems and catering/kitchen equipment at client locations
  • Assist with and, on occasion, manage installation and modification of cold/freezer room refrigeration and catering/kitchen equipment.
  • Perform all procedures for emergency response to all cold/freezer room refrigeration and catering/kitchen equipment calls and any calls from clients serviced by QCE
  • Access and resolve cold/freezer room refrigeration and catering/kitchen equipment malfunctions, wiring and peripherals faults.
  • Apply safety regulation on job sites and within shop.
  • Assist in maintaining records and keeping them up to date.
  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly reports.
  • Service, maintain, repair, and install cold/freezer room and catering/kitchen equipment and controls.
  • Conduct a wide range of repairs on cold/freezer room refrigeration and catering/kitchen equipment in accordance with manufacturer regulations.
  • Create job cards and explain to customers how to maintain and operate their cold/freezer room refrigeration or catering/kitchen equipment.
