The Radiation Protection Authority is a regulatory body under the Ministry of Technology and Science. The Authority was established by the Ionising Radiation Protection Act No 16 of 2005 as amended by the Ionising Radiation Protection Act No. 19 of 2011. The mandate of the Authority is to protect the public, workers and the environment from hazards arising from the use of devices or materials capable of producing ionising radiation.
Radiation Protection Authority is seeking applications from qualified and interested companies to register as suppliers at the Authority for the year ending 31st December 2024.
LOT 1: Supply of Office Stationery and Toners
LOT 2: Supply of Office Furniture /Equipment (tables, chairs, filing cabinets, shelves, Aircons etc.)
LOT 3: Printing, Branding and Visibility Materials (Billboards, Corporate wear, pop up Banners, backdrops, teardrops, diaries, notebooks etc.)
LOT 4: Transportation and Car Hire Services, Air Flight Services, Freight and Local Office Removal
LOT 5: Conferencing, Events Catering and Lodging (Chongwe, Lusaka, Chilanga,)
LOT 6: Insurance Services (Motor vehicles, Building and Equipment)
LOT 7: Vehicle Spares and Repair Services (Tyres, Batteries, etc.) LOT 8: Advertising, Media, Video, and Photography services.
LOT 9: Consultancy Services (Audit, Trainings)
LOT 10: ICT (Computers, Printers and maintenance)
LOT 11: General Trading
LOT 12: Construction Works and Services (Electrical Repairs, Painting, Plumbing, aircon repairs, minor construction)
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Current Suppliers and Contractors may re-apply in order for Radiation Protection Authority to have updated information.
2. Only successful Companies will be notified after preliminary evaluation and due diligence/site visits will be conducted by authorized Radiation Protection Authority Personnel.
3. Interested vendors / suppliers must submit to the undersigned physical address an application letter for Vendor Registration together with their company profiles clearly stating the physical address, phone numbers, valid email address, with the following documents;
- Valid ZRA Tax Clearance Certificate,
- Certificates of Registration/ Incorporation,
- Valid ZPPA certificate,
- NAPSA or any Social Security certificate,
- References of past and/or current Order/ Contracts and all other documents for the business in a single document in the order mentioned (with clearly labelled categories — “LOTS”).
4. Registration does not mean guarantee of business as all suppliers shall be subjected to the competitive process.
5. The closing date of submission of applications is Friday 26th January 2024, at 17:00 hours. Any submissions made after this date will not be considered.
