This enables the customer to spread their payments over an extended period, rather than paying cash up front. By eliminating this ‘barrier’, households across Zambia can access RDG products such as Refrigerators, Solar Water Pumps, Smartphones and Solar Home systems (SHS) to improve and empower their lives. Households that were previously forgotten, are now on the frontier of an exciting new market opportunity.

Reporting to: Sales Manager.

Job description

The Area Sales Coordinator will be managing and implementing RDG entry in several new markets along with consolidating business positions in areas where we currently operate.

Tasks and activities

a. Responsible for recruiting Sales agents

b. Responsible for meeting sales Targets

c. Improving revenue through repayments

d. Managing Customer portfolio

e. Responding to customer queries

f.  New channel expansion

g. Training & mentoring sales agents.


1. Degree/ Diploma in a Business-related field OR equivalent and at least 3 years.

2. Experience in solar PAYG sales industry.

3. Experience in managing a team of Agents

4. Computer Skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

5. Customer Service experience.

6. Innovative and creative thinking.

7. Planning Organizing and Prioritizing skills.

8. Able to build teams internal & external relationships

9. Coaching & Mentoring Skills.
